We at University Presbyterian Church have so many reasons to be thankful. We are thankful for the opportunity to use our building in serving all the people who find comfort, a sense of place, help, and fellowship here: the food pantry clients, community groups, clients at Best Self Behavioral Health, and our own members as we gather in worship, attend Bible study classes, and create a loving community with one another. We are thankful for the love and support we find in one another, a community of flawed but faithful people who strive to extend care, compassion, and justice. We are thankful for members’ gifts, talents and stewardship exhibited in many ways, and their witness to the love of God. This is the reason we exist as a congregation: to praise and serve the God who loves us steadfastly, forgives our failures, and offers new life in the Way of Jesus Christ.
So we respond with thanksgiving, by offering our gifts, including the gift of our selves. We invite you to join us in gratitude by supporting the ministries of University Church. You can make an annual pledge (contact the church office at (716) 836-7660 or firstname.lastname@example.org) or make a one time gift. You can write a check, place your offering in the plate on Sundays, or contribute through our Online Giving Page.

About a third of working Americans have medical debt with almost a third owing at least $10,000. This Christmas Season you can be part of the cure for crushing medical debt.
RIP Medical Debt has created a unique solution by using donations to buy large bundles of medical debt and then forgiving that debt.
Every $1 relieves $100 in un-payable medical debt - really!
$10 relieves $1,000
$100 relieves $10,000
$1,000 relieves $100,000
Throughout this Advent Season you may make a gift to RIP Medical Debt through University Presbyterian Church. For each donation you can send a Christmas Letter letting a loved one or friend know that you have honored them with this alternative Christmas gift of hope. The letter can be printed out here:
Please make checks payable to University Presbyterian Church or give on-line under Special Seasonal Offerings. With either method, please include the memo entry: "Alternative Gift."
From time to time a Memorial Fund has been established to receive gifts to University Church honoring a loved one who has passed away. Such donations can be made by check made out to "University Presbyterian Church" with "memorial gift honoring [name of individual]" in the memo line. Such gifts can also be made from your computer through the Online Giving Page (but not through the GivePlus Church mobile app, because it does not provide the option of specifying a memorial).
Checks can be mailed to:
